Been out with Dan for both Shrimp and Halibut and both were days we will never forget! All the kids got shrimp limits, while Dan explained everything! Super friendly, very knowledgable, safety focused and man the lemon bars he brought for the kids were to die for! We can’t wait to book or next Puget Sound/SJI adventure with Dan and the entire PHD team!Posted on Google Kris BaklenkoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dan is a amazing captain and charter lead. Beautiful boat, great fishing, and was very patient with teen and new fisherman. PHD will be the only company we fish with moving forward. Thanks DanPosted on Google Kristen ScottTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went to Baker lake with Dan, he was super helpful and educational. Had an amazing experience, he has everything you need on his boat and more. Highly recommend him and his crew. You will have a good time no matter what. I will for sure be heading out with him again. Also, he didn't mind me stalking his fish sonar for 9 hrs and asking questions lolPosted on Google Kaitlynn ChaputTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our group had an amazing day on the water. Our guide Dan was friendly, knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure our trip was enjoyed by all. Whether it’s your first fishing experience or 100th, I highly recommend booking with him. The best part is you can be as hands on as you like. If you want to learn how to switch out bait and change up tackle he will take the time to teach you and explain why he’s making those choices or why he’s switching it up. If you’d rather fish and relax that’s cool too. We are already looking up dates to get out there again!Posted on Google Matthew BergTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took out my brother who had just returned from his deployment in Iraq, we hit baker lake for sockeye with PHD fishing. From the minute we got on the boat we knew it was going to be a blast. Both the guys on the boat were super fun and very easy to get along with. Our guide was even giving tips to other guides to get them on fish. As the kids say, it was a vibe! We caught a good amount of sockeye. He had another trip scheduled for the afternoon but they cleaned our fish on the boat while we all kept fishing up until the last possible minute. Great trip, great memories, beautiful scenery, and we took home some awesome sockeye. 10/10 would recommend. Oh, and the boat dogs were awesome too!Posted on Google Albert LeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My experience and siblings time with Dan was excellent, gave us extra time to possibly catch more fish if possible, very entertaining and funny throughout the whole 6 hours out on the water. The view was beautiful and just as beautiful when fish are being hooked on line, Dan is also a very knowledgeable person and great to talk with so dont be scared to ask any questions. Overall the trip was great and would recommend coming back here when I have the time.Posted on Google MS LTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a wonderful time on Baker Lake with my brothers! Went during the late sockeye season, and although we lost a few, we also got a few beautiful sockeye to take home! Dan is an awesome captain. He gave a nice safety brief before we embarked at 520am, (only bc my group was late, woops). He's super chill, great with kids and teens, and is an absolute hoot. My brothers and I have picked up one-liners and jokes we'll reference for a long time 🤣 We had an epic tangle and he was able to calmly undo it and get us back to fishing. The guy knows his stuff and really wants to set you up for success. It was also a gorgeous day on the lake. There's nothing that can beat a beautiful day on the lake with family and good company, except maybe getting the rest of the 26 sockeye 🤣 6/5 would book again.Posted on Google KBOzzie59 “KBOzzie59”Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've been out on Baker Lake a few times with Dan and have never went home empty handed. This was my first year fishing the lake and my first local charter experience, top notch in both regards. PHD Guide Service will be my go to for Baker Lake and Skagit River guided fishing. Looking forward to some crab and shrimp trips next year.Posted on Google Noah MazzolaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Captain Dan is the man! Me and my brother had an epic experience getting on the boat and catching some Sockeye salmon. We were expertly guided through the lake and Captain Dan was always able to get us on some fish. Definitely a trip I will never forget!
